Appointments can be booked by phone at (604) 834-9001, by email at info@medluxmedical.ca, or through our online booking system. We offer both in-office and virtual (televisit) appointments. Same-day appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis — please call in the morning for availability.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in:
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule to avoid delays for other patients. Please call ahead if you are running late so we can advise you accordingly.
Most medical visits at MedLux Medical Clinic are covered by the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) with a valid BC Care Card. The following services are not covered by MSP and may have additional fees:
Fee information is available at the front desk. Please ask our staff if you have questions about coverage before your appointment.
Please request prescription refills at least 3–5 business days in advance to allow adequate processing time. Refill requests can be made through your pharmacy or by contacting our office. Certain medications may require an in-person or virtual appointment before a refill can be issued.
You may request a copy of your medical records or request a transfer of records to another provider. Please submit your request in writing to our office. A processing fee may apply for record copying in accordance with CPSBC guidelines. Records transfers are typically completed within 30 business days.
Virtual appointments (phone or video) are available for many visit types, including follow-ups, prescription refills, lab result discussions, and non-emergency health concerns. However, some conditions require an in-person examination. Your physician will advise if a virtual visit is appropriate for your needs.
