Booking Your Appointment

You can now book all of our visit types online with any of our physicians. To help us give every patient the time they need, please choose the appointment type that best matches your reason for visiting. Visit lengths differ by appointment type, and selecting the most appropriate one keeps the clinic running on time for you and everyone else.

In-office visits take place at the clinic and are needed for anything involving a physical exam, procedure, immunization, or forms. Televisits are telephone appointments — your physician calls you — ideal for reviewing results, prescription refills, and concerns that don't require an exam. Many concerns can be handled either way; use your own discretion, and if your physician feels an in-person assessment is needed, they will let you know during your call.

In-Office Visits

In-Person Visit (Standard) — 10 min

A focused visit at the clinic for a single concern — e.g. a results review, prescription renewal, or one straightforward issue.

In-Person Visit (Extra Time) — 20 min

A longer in-office visit for a more complex concern, or when you have more than one issue to discuss.

New Patient Visit — 20 min

Your first appointment with your new MedLux physician — a meet & greet to review your health history and current needs.

Immunization — 20 min

Vaccinations and injections, including routine and travel immunizations.

Biopsy — 30 min

A minor in-office procedure to sample or remove a skin lesion for testing.

Joint Injection — 30 min

Therapeutic injections for joint or soft-tissue pain, performed in office.

PAP Test / IUD Removal — 20 min

Cervical cancer screening (Pap test) or removal of an intrauterine device.

Well Baby Exam — 20 min

Routine check-ups for infants and young children, including growth, development, and scheduled immunization review.

Pregnancy Visit — 20 min

Prenatal appointments to monitor your health and your baby's progress through pregnancy.

Mental Health (In Person) — 20 min

Dedicated in-office time to discuss anxiety, depression, sleep, stress, or other mental health concerns.

ICBC — 20 min

Assessment and follow-up of injuries related to a motor vehicle accident claim with ICBC.

WCB — 20 min

Assessment and follow-up of workplace injuries under a WorkSafeBC (WCB) claim.

Drivers Medical Forms — 20 min

Driver's medical examinations and completion of RoadSafetyBC / commercial driver forms.
